Doug’s Christmas is a short film that portrays a Korean War veteran who still struggles at Christmas time with the loss of a friend who died in combat on Christmas day during the Korean conflict. The main character, Doug, is played by Clarke Devereux. Clarke is in fact a Korean War veteran. He served as a machine gunner and First Sergeant in the 21st AAA Self propelled Battery, then assigned to the 25th Infantry Division. The story which Doug tells during the film is drawn from his real-life experience. It is a heartwarming and poignant portrayal of sacrifice and redemption.
